Amazing man with two obviously loving mums who, contrary to some people’s expectations, is a lot less fucked up than most people with straight parents.

Engineering student. Handsome. Principled. A lovely family is always a bonus.

I would marry him…if he asked me to.

My life used to be like this; Pub, beer and stories.

Now a lot of my friends hate each other.

Scars.

Sorry about this, I wanted to make an interesting first Tumblr post. But I think it may have ended up psychotic:

I like a good facial scar. And an occasional milky white pupil. It would not be wrong to say it’s a bit of a fetish.

But thankfully, I am not a weirdo and it is actually a THING. Just googled scars (as you do), and found a lovely journal article on how facial scarring enhances men’s attractiveness for short-term relationships. Post-traumatic scars such as those gained through heroic acts can signify valued personality traits including a risk-taking personality and enhanced masculinity. They may also advertise good genes and a strong immune system.

Here are some of my favourite scars;

This is Harry from Spiderman 3. James Franco is generally an all-round talented and handsome chap, but I kind of liked seeing him with burns on his face.

Scar has a scar. I think it makes him look distinguished.

Hayden Christensen in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Definitely an improvement.

Some guy from a Bond film that I can’t remember. Scar/half-blind combo.

I just don’t know why he hides them. Otherwise he’s a bit shit.

And Amy Acker in Dollhouse definitely made me a little… err… confused.
